Kesha Put a Winter Twist on the Aura Manicure Trend

It's no secret that Kesha has a beautiful aura, but if your eyes aren't trained to see the glow that emanates off of her when she performs, don't worry! You can also see it on her nails.

On December 17, the 37-year-old walked the red carpet before taking the stage at iHeartRadio's 2024 Jingle Ball show in Washington, DC. Wearing a festive red dress, she forwent this year's most popular holiday manicure styles (in case you've missed it, naked nails, simple French designs, and sugar cookie shimmers have all been trending) in favor of a more unique approach that played into one of our favorite styles of the last few years.

Medium in length and almond shaped, each of the "Blah Blah Blah" singer's nails was painted a different design, all of which fell into the "aura nails" category. Though her art was a bit more defined than we often see with the softly blurred, ethereal style, the vision was there—especially on her pinky, which featured a deep purple hue at its edges before transitioning to a baby blue color at the center.

Other shades in the color scheme included a deep navy, white, cranberry, and bright red to match that drape-y corset dress and matching boots. While some nails featured just one color gradient, others included a two-circle design reminiscent of the tab of a soda can. Her ring fingers showcased a heavy white French tip which framed a dab of the red polish—a nod to the current trends without being too invested.

To finish off her look, Kesha went with a pretty, middle-parted blowout that let her perfectly toned blonde locks and curtain bangs shine. Her eye makeup was blended out for a smoky look, and her lips were painted with some pretty pink gloss.
